A Wheel-y Good Summer Reading Plan

What’s better than rolling up to the library on a sunny day? Doing it with your kid riding shotgun and a Christiania cargo box ready to haul home half the children’s section.

We’re joining the Santa Cruz Public Libraries Summer Reading Program—and highly recommend you do too. It’s for all ages (yes, even you grown-ups), and signing up means you can earn virtual badges, free books, and raffle tickets just for reading.

Starting June 1st, sign up online through Beanstack or grab a paper log at any branch. Then load up the bike and get ready to read under trees, on porches, or wherever your summer takes you.

Pro tip: a Christiania bike makes an excellent bookmobile. Just saying.
